finding partners

partnerships have been key to the success and growth of all hearts farm, a small but ambitious half-acre farm in new paltz, which is set to expand over the next three years. by collaborating with local businesses, volunteers, and investors, the farm has not only expanded its reach but also diversified its offerings to better serve its community. flyer marketing and starting a group on lex played a big role in building awareness and how we built these essential connections

instagram helped us find farms in out area and once we followed a few, the others were suggested to us

HVYFC has been our #1 resource for connecting with produce providers

going to the farmers markets and meeting those at the booths is also a great way to connect with other farmers.

one of the first major breakthroughs for all hearts farm came through its partnership with VitaHealth Pharmacy, a business located on the upper west side (uws) of manhattan. the farm’s founder, Avery Bross, initially connected with the pharmacy through regular delivery work. this relationship evolved into a formal investment, with vitahealth recognizing the farm’s potential and committing financial support. this investment provided critical funding to cover land leasing costs and operational expenses, allowing the farm to scale its operations.

in addition to growing a variety of crops on-site, all hearts farm sources additional produce wholesale from Gopal Farm, a larger farm also based in new paltz. leasing a quarter-acre plot from gopal farm has created a mutually beneficial arrangement, with all hearts farm focusing on high-demand crops like lettuce and tomatoes while gopal farm supplies complementary produce and provides our refrigerated truck for city deliveries, which we handle for them. this collaboration ensures a wide range of fresh, local items for all hearts farm’s CSA (community supported agriculture) boxes.

to add more value to its csa offerings, all hearts farm sought out partnerships with local businesses specializing in prepared foods. by working with small-scale chefs and artisanal food makers, the farm has been able to include items like homemade jams, baked goods, and pre-cooked meals in its csa boxes. this initiative not only enhances the csa experience for subscribers but also supports other local entrepreneurs.

volunteers have played a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of all hearts farm. from helping in the fields to assisting with csa logistics, community members have stepped in to contribute their time and energy. the farm attracts volunteers through social media outreach, local community boards, and word-of-mouth recommendations. these volunteers often gain hands-on experience in sustainable farming practices while helping the farm thrive.

we are partnering with local community members who volunteer in shepherding csa boxes as they are picked up for a produce trade. this collaborative effort ensures that customers receive their shares on time and with minimal hassle.

all hearts farm’s success in building partnerships is a testament to the power of community collaboration. by engaging with local businesses, volunteers, and investors, the farm has created a sustainable model that benefits not just the farm itself but the entire new paltz community. these partnerships exemplify how small farms can thrive by fostering meaningful relationships and sharing resources.

as the farm continues to grow, it’s clear that its network of partners will remain a cornerstone of its operations, ensuring that all hearts farm can continue to provide fresh, local, and lovingly curated food to its supporters.
