Thank you so much for considering to volunteer at the farm.

We are looking for 5-10 people to come out for a few days early in the year and help broadfork the land. A broadfork is like 2 pitchforks in one… it has 2 handles and you dig it in with your foot like a shovel and then use both arms to gently introduce oxygen to the soil.

The farm budgets for paid labor for those living near New Paltz who can work seasonally in spring and fall, but there’s been a surprising number of people in the city that would like to come help for a day or two in order to.. learn about farming, get a solid work out, and connect with nature and their food.
